We are a coalition of committed activists, united by a shared sense of urgency to establish formal and direct channels of communication with both governmental and non-governmental entities in Iceland. Additionally, we seek to engage with individuals residing in designated shelter spaces within the country. Our primary objective is to offer unwavering support and sustainable solutions to Venezuelan citizens who, for various reasons, are unable to return to their homeland. Our mission extends beyond mere assistance; it encompasses ensuring their holistic well-being and seamless integration into Icelandic society.
Through collaborative efforts, we aspire to devise comprehensive strategies tailored to the unique needs and challenges faced by Venezuelans seeking refuge in Iceland. We believe in the power of solidarity and mutual support as catalysts for meaningful change. By fostering dialogue, promoting inclusivity, and championing the rights of displaced individuals, we aim to create a more compassionate and welcoming environment for all members of the venezuelan community in iceland.
Ensure that the human rights of Venezuelans in Iceland are respected through the implementation of various mechanisms within the legal framework
